Oregon State University (OSU) has named Kurt Williams, DVM, PhD, DACVP, a current veterinary pathologist at Michigan State University, director of the Oregon Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (OVDL). His role at the OVDL will begin on March 1, 2022.

“How we think about who we’re going to be in old age is very predictive of exactly how we will be,” says Shelbie Turner, a doctoral student at Oregon State University’s College of Public Health and Human Sciences and co-author of a study on the effects of positive self-perception in middle-aged and older adults.

Corvallis Transit System Service reductions, effective Jan. 24: Due to an ongoing shortage of drivers, Corvallis Transit System is forced to reduce service beginning on Jan. 24 until further notice.
