Umatilla County Master Gardeners in partnership with Umatilla County Public Health and the Oregon State University Extension Service put on the class, which meets Saturday mornings at the Extension Service offices on the Pendleton campus of Blue Mountain Community College.
An ongoing disagreement over religious expression in a government-funded program has led to the apparent termination of a decadeslong partnership between Oregon State University and a rural county in southern Oregon. Josephine County’s Board of Commissioners voted Wednesday to cut future funding toward Oregon State University’s Extension Service.

Gearing Up for Pollinator Week: The Oregon State University Extension Service in Lane County welcomes the public to Gearing Up for Pollinator Week on June 17. The Joy of Gardening Conference: The conference is organized by the Oregon Master Gardener Association in cooperation with and with the support of Oregon State University Extension Service Master Gardener Program. Bioorthhogonal ligations workshop: The GCE4All Research Center is hosting an in-person workshop, "Bioorthogonal Ligations — Clicking with GCE," Aug. 8-12. This five-day intensive lecture and laboratory workshop will cover bioorthogonal ligations using GCE technologies in E.coli and mammalian host systems. Apply now. Core Curriculum for OSU Managers and Supervisors: The Core Curriculum for Managers and Supervisors is a training program for all Oregon State University managers, supervisors and lead workers. At the end of this course, learners will have a solid understanding about the principles and policies that apply to our employees; know how to navigate within the space of talent management activities; recognize when, and how, to provide equal opportunity and access to employees; and more. FourSight Mindset Reveal Workshop: FourSight Mindset Reveal is a new workshop presented by University Human Resources that dives deep into the way that we solve problems together. UHR Learning & Development is now accepting FYI Friday presentation proposals for Fall 2022: Does your unit have a new or existing service, process, system, policy or research you want to share with the campus community? FYI Friday is a program where campus partners are invited to present what they’re working on to a broad audience of professional faculty, academic faculty and classified staff. Applications open for the OSU Engagement Awards of Excellence: As part of the planned annual OSU Engagement Conference (Sept. 5-6), we wish to recognize faculty, staff and community partners for their efforts to develop programs or projects that adhere to the principles of community engagement and engaged scholarship, including reciprocal and mutually beneficial outcomes that address key societal issues and contribute to the inclusive prosperity of OSU’s internal and external stakeholders. Student Health Services is moving: The Plageman Student Health Center is permanently closing at 1 p.m. on June 16, and all Student Health Services locations will be closed from June 19-23. Survivor advocacy services will be available during this closure. OSU Student Health will move to three new locations this summer, including the new Health Center next to Reser Stadium. Grads Give Back Gown Share: Grads Give Back is OSU’s Gown Share Program. Parking lot closure: As part of the LaSells Stewart Center Mechanical & Roof Renewal Project, a section of SW Stadium Avenue located directly behind LaSells Stewart Center and just south of Bloss Hall will be closed to allow for crane activity from 8 a.m.-1 p.m., June 9. The B2 parking lot east of the LaSells Stewart Center will also be closed.The entrance to SW Stadium Avenue from SW Western Boulevard will be closed. Both the east and west sidewalks on Stadium Avenue directly behind the LaSells Stewart Center will be closed.
