Correction regarding pay: Below is specific information regarding pay for those classified employees who were required to work onsite during the time period when some of the University buildings were closed. Eligible hourly classified employees should see essential pay for Sept. 9 to Sept. 15 reflected on their September paychecks. Any essential time worked on Sept. 16 will be paid with the October paycheck (for pay period of Sept. 16 to Oct. 15). Eligible salaried employees will receive essential pay in the October paycheck due to the nature of salaried pay, where additional pay (overtime, etc.) and/or leave used is reflected the following month due to the lag in timesheet submissions. For those classified employees who utilized “closure leave,” this time is included in regular earnings and thus does not show as a separate line item for hourly and salaried employees.
