The Oregon State University Board of Trustees on Friday approved for the 2023-24 fiscal year a $1.64 billion operations budget that includes $213 million for construction of a research center in Corvallis and $16.5 million for a housing development in Newport.

Student Health Services is moving: The Plageman Student Health Center is permanently closing at 1 p.m. on June 16, and all Student Health Services locations will be closed from June 19-23. Survivor advocacy services will be available during this closure. OSU Student Health will move to three new locations this summer, including the new Health Center next to Reser Stadium. Parking lot closure: As part of the LaSells Stewart Center Mechanical & Roof Renewal Project, a section of SW Stadium Avenue located directly behind LaSells Stewart Center and just south of Bloss Hall will be closed to allow for crane activity from 8 a.m.-1 p.m., June 9. The B2 parking lot east of the LaSells Stewart Center will also be closed.The entrance to SW Stadium Avenue from SW Western Boulevard will be closed. Both the east and west sidewalks on Stadium Avenue directly behind the LaSells Stewart Center will be closed.
