For the tenth year in a row, Oregon State University has been ranked as one of the top 10 providers of online education in the nation, according to OSU officials.
The study’s lead investigator, Massimo Bionaz, PhD, of the Department of Animal and Rangeland Sciences, Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR, explained, “We know from recent research that spent hemp biomass has very promising nutritional value.”
Oregon State researchers developed SureSeal technology over a decade ago to protect cherries from cracking because of rain. The technology seals the microscopic cracks that can develop as cherries and other fruit grows, protecting it from cracking and exposure to various pathogens.
According to an Oregon State University (OSU) study, nearly all Oregon counties are considered childcare deserts, where every open childcare slot, there are between three and 10 children who need it.

Printing and Mailing is collecting food donations: Campus Mail will be dropping off collection bags in your mailboxes; just leave any contributions in the bag in your mail area and we will pick them up. Internationalization Grant: The deadline for the 2023-24 Internationalization Grant has been extended 5 p.m., Feb. 16. Grants of up to $5,000 are offered for projects that advance internationalization within one of three tracks, aligned with “Prosperity Widely Shared”: Research and Innovation; Global and Intercultural Learning; and Career and Workforce Development. $15K of funding available: The OSU Advantage Accelerator is currently seeking applications that describe technology-based projects in any discipline that will move OSU-owned technologies closer to commercialization. Proposals should describe a project that requires $15,000 or less of funding to achieve an important milestone(s) connected to commercialization. Each project may be awarded up to $15,000 and should span six months or less, beginning in March 2024. The sidewalks on both sides of Stadium Avenue will also be closed along with two reserved parking spots, the loading dock and the dumpster access area on the south side of the street.
