Theresa Hogue is an Oregon native who has worked as a writer her entire adult life. She was previously a reporter for a number of Oregon newspapers, but came to Oregon State University in 2008 to work in the Office of News & Research Communications as the internal communications coordinator. In addition to being the editor of the faculty and staff online magazine LIFE@OSU and the daily e-newsletter OSU Today (which currently has nearly 15,000 subscribers), Hogue also covers OSU Libraries and Student Affairs for the university. She is married to OSU philosophy professor Joseph Orosco and has a son and step-daughter, as well as five dogs and two cats, all rescues, and four chickens. In addition to managing her menagerie, she enjoys international travel, gardening and working on her home.
