BEAVERTON - How to guide growth in a family business is the focus of an Oregon State University Austin Family Business Program workshop here on Friday, May 21.

Aimed at business owners, spouses and key managers, the workshop, which is offered with sponsorship by U.S. Bank, will run from 8 a.m. to noon at Leupold and Stevens, Inc., 14400 N.W. Greenbriar Parkway. Participants can see another family business in action at a tour of the facility from noon to 1 p.m.

Workshop discussions and hands-on learning activities will help business owners focus on communications, financing, policy, and decision-making, as related to growth. Participants will also learn about effective planning and have a chance to hear from a panel of family business owners who will share stories about their experiences.
