CORVALLIS - Students traditionally underrepresented in higher education will have a chance to glimpse college life when Oregon State University hosts its annual Kaleidoscope of Colleges and Cultures on Saturday, Jan. 17.
Questions about university life, including financial aid, housing and admissions will be the focus of the event. Pre-registration is recommended and can be done online at http://oregonstate.edu/soar/visit/kaleidoscope.html. Designed for high school and community college students of color and other underrepresented populations, Kaleidoscope is an opportunity for students to explore OSU's academic programs in addition to social opportunities and support services that are available.
Among the highlights of Kaleidoscope of Colleges and Cultures are opportunities to interact with OSU faculty and staff, and meeting with OSU students to discuss their experiences and university life.
The program begins at 9:30 a.m. in the campus Memorial Union.
