CORVALLIS - Food, dance, cultural exhibitions and a fashion show are some of the highlights of Oregon State University's Filipino Night 2002 scheduled for Saturday, April 6, in the OSU Memorial Union Ballroom.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner served at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, but because of limited resources, only the first 250 diners can be accommodated. Everyone, however, is welcome to stay for the cultural programs, which begin at 7 p.m.

The event is sponsored by OSU's Filipino Student Association. A dance, featuring popular hit music, starts at 8:30 p.m. and continues until 11 p.m.

Dinner will include chicken adobo cooked with ginger, garlic and vinegar, pancit (rice noodle stir-fry), vegetable lumpia (egg roll), white rice and halo-halo (tropical fruit mix).
