CORVALLIS - Amy Davis, a 4-H youth development educator in Oregon State University's Jefferson County Extension Office, has been appointed staff chair and 4-H youth development/agriculture Extension agent in Wheeler County.

Davis holds a bachelor of science degree in animal science from Montana State University and a master of science degree in ruminant nutrition from Utah State University.

"We are very pleased to have someone with Amy's experience and background in Wheeler County," said John Winder, assistant director of the OSU Extension Service. "She will be a valuable resource. We look forward to many exciting programs in the county leading to new opportunities for youth and adults."

The Wheeler County Extension Service Office is in Fossil.
