CORVALLIS - The Oregon State University Music a la Carte concert series will feature the OSU Symphonic Band, under the direction of Lewis Norfleet, on Thursday, March 7. The free public concert begins at noon in the Memorial Union Lounge on the OSU campus.

The program will feature music of fantasy, including "Lord of the Rings" by Johan de Meij, "Inferno" by Robert W. Smith, "Daydream" by Timothy Mahr, and "An American Elegy" by Frank Ticheli.

This is a preview performance of the band's Winter Concert, which will also feature the OSU Concert Band. The Winter Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, at LaSells Stewart Center.
