CORVALLIS - Several senior students in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oregon State University have received awards for their scholarship or other activities.
The award recipients include:
OREGON
- HEPPNER
Sara Greenup, a $500 Pharmacia Animal Health Proficiency Award, for working with large animals.
- HOOD RIVER
Shelly Knopsnyder, a $500 Ken and Celia Austin Camelid Scholarship, given to students with an interest and aptitude for working with camelids.
- OREGON CITY
Margaret Bowyet, a $1,000 Hill's pet Products "Buddy" award, given to a student with an interest and aptitude in clinical nutrition.
- PORTLAND
Lina Wachsmuth, a $1,000 E.E. Wedman Outstanding Senior Award, given to the outstanding graduating senior for scholarship, leadership, dedication to veterinary medicine, and compassion for animals and colleagues.

Peter Vullutini, a $500 Pharmacia Animal Health Proficiency Award, for small animals.
IDAHO
- MOUNTAIN HOME
Jacki Tegarden, a $500 Ken and Celia Austin Camelid Scholarship, given to students with an interest and aptitude for working with camelids.
UTAH
- OREM
Tara Timpson, a $1000 Cabaret Carolina Memorial Scholarship, given to a student with a demonstrated interest in equine medicine and surgery.
