CORVALLIS - Five cadets from the Air Force ROTC detachment at Oregon State University will conduct a ceremony on Friday, May 23, in the Oregon Senate chambers in Salem to draw attention to prisoners of war and soldiers missing in action.

The ceremony is part of Oregon's Memorial Day Weekend observances. The students' appearance will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Also on Friday, four Air Force ROTC cadets will conduct a flag-raising ceremony at the Children's Farm Home in Corvallis. They will be at the school from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. The school is located at 4455 N.E. Hwy. 20.
