CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State University will celebrate Homecoming this weekend and the OSU Alumni Association is hosting a number of events, highlighted by a football game between the Beavers and the Stanford Cardinal. Kickoff for Saturday’s game is set for 3:30 p.m.
A homecoming parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. It starts in downtown Corvallis at Southwest First Street and Jefferson Avenue, and will proceed west on Jefferson to 26th Street, then turn south and end a block later in front of Dixon Recreation Center.
Also scheduled for Homecoming 2007 are reunions for the OSU classes of 1967 and 1962. Several of the university’s colleges and programs also have reunions or other special activities planned, including a 5-kilometer walk and run hosted by the College of Health and Human Sciences.
Other major events scheduled include:
• The OSU volleyball team hosts Arizona State at 7 p.m. Thursday and the University of Arizona at 7 p.m. Friday in Gill Coliseum.
• The Homecoming Bonfire, sponsored by the OSU Student Alumni Association and the O Stater Club, will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Callahan parking lot.

• The Alumni Fellows Awards will take place at noon Friday in the CH2M Hill Alumni Center.
