The walk-up clinic takes place in the SEC Plaza from noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday through March 18. All COVID-19 vaccines are available, including doses for children. Black Lives Matter in Academic Spaces: Three Lessons in Critical Literacy. A remote public talk by Vershawn Ashanti Young, discussing the ways that teachers and the public in both the U.S. and Canada have misappropriated the linguistic concept of code-switching as it applies to both Black language and standard language speakers. Vote for Your Student Leadership: The ASOSU Election Ballot is open now. The ASOSU Student Government represents the student body, communicates with policymakers and university leadership and oversees over $26 million in incidental fees. This includes funding for units such as the Memorial Union, Student Experiences & Engagement, the Human Services Resource Center and the Family Resource Center, among other services. Ballots close March 4 at 5 p.m. 

CTL Lumen Learning GRANT Opportunity: CTL Lumen Learning Grant is a funded professional development opportunity with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Lumen Learning to help better understand the teaching practices that positively impact student success. Join an online Faculty Development program. $500 for each participant. $15K of Funding Available: The OSU Advantage Accelerator is currently seeking applications that describe technology-based projects in any discipline that will move OSU-owned technologies closer to commercialization. Proposals should describe a project that requires $15,000 or less of funding to achieve an important milestone(s) connected to commercialization. Each project may be awarded up to $15,000 and should span 9 months or less, beginning in April 2022. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. on Feb. 28. Learn more and apply.

SNAP Eligibility Income Increase: SNAP is a federal program that provides eligible participants with $234 a month for grocery funding and the Oregon income eligibility criteria recently increased. The Human Services Resource Center at OSU raises awareness about this resource and provides application assistance to U.S. citizens who make less than $2147 a month, or are work-study eligible or have a 0 EFC score on their FAFSA. For information: SNAP.HSRC@oregonstate.edu.
