OSU’s Ecampus is again ranked in the top 10 for the nation’s best online education programs. The school beat out more than 340 online programs from other schools. The ranking from U.S. News & World Report measures the strength of a school’s academic foundations, graduation rates, instructor credentials, as well as its career and financial aid support for students.
During the pandemic, Leslie Madsen decided to rip out her front yard and expand her garden. Madsen noticed something started to change in her relationships with her neighbors.
The researchers built off the work by the Oregon State teams, combining that with Cornell’s training for handling infectious samples. “Putting together a combination of borrowed and new training helped our team members be successful,” Cazer said.

Winter Campus Band Concert: Conducted by Erik Leung, the Oregon State University Campus Band meets all three terms and contains 50-70 members. Emotional Awareness - Book Club: Participants will engage in discussion on Emotional Awareness: Overcoming Obstacles to Psychological Balance and Compassion by the Dalai Lama and Paul Ekman. OSU Authors and Editors Recognition Series: The Authors and Editors Recognition Series celebrates the literary and scholarly books published by university faculty by featuring selected authors and editors for readings and discussion. Sustainability Town Hall: Carly Lettero, associate director of arts integration at PRAx and the director of Spring Creek Project, will be a keynote speaker at the upcoming Sustainability Town Hall, Corvallis's premier sustainability event hosted by the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition. Advances in Battery Research 2024: The College of Science’s David Ji, who researches sustainable battery technologies, will present Feb. 21 at the online symposium Advances in Battery Research 2024 organized by Technology Networks. Ji’s presentation is titled “Opportunities and challenges of aqueous metal batteries” and will encompass the large picture of energy storage, the requirements of storage batteries and results from the Ji lab regarding fundamental solutions in enabling aqueous metal batteries for storage purposes.
