CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State University will hold its annual fashion show Thursday, May 19, at the CH2M-Hill Alumni Center with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the event starting at 8 p.m.

Students in Oregon State University's Department of Design and Human Environment, who also organized the event, will reveal their fashion collections during the show. Models will walk the runway showcasing works by apparel design students.

This year's theme is "Equinox: Where Dark Meets Light," which draws on inspiration from the term "equinox," or the time of day when both night and day are equal.

Funds raised from the event go into producing the show and making next year's show possible. Unlike many other design schools, OSU students do not pay an entrance fee in order to have their designs presented.

Cocktail attire is encouraged for attendees.

Tickets are $20 for general admission and $5 for standing room. They are available for purchase in Milam Hall Room 224. Front row seating is available upon inquiry. For more information, go to http://hhs.oregonstate.edu/dhe/7th-annual-fashion-show, or email equinoxdesgin2011@gmail.com.
