CORVALLIS, Ore. - The online educational program offered by Oregon State University Extended Campus (Ecampus) has been ranked 18th in the nation by TheBestColleges.org, an independent website that reviews a variety of learning programs.

The review group used criteria including class sizes, tuition costs, and degrees offered to identify leading schools. OSU's high ranking was due, in part, to a diverse selection of online undergraduate and graduate programs in science and liberal arts.

The evaluation also gave OSU online degrees high marks for overall student satisfaction, noting "It's tough to do better than Oregon State Online for a top online college degree." OSU was one of just five land-grant universities in the top 25.

Through Extended Campus, OSU now offers more than 20 online undergraduate and graduate degrees. The newest offerings include a master of natural resources, a bachelor's degree in human development and family sciences, and a bachelor's degree in environmental economics and policy. Additional courses and degrees continue to be added to meet the growing needs and number of students involved.
