CORVALLIS, Ore. -- The rich and diverse scholarship of Oregon State University undergraduates will be highlighted Thursday, May 6 with "Celebrating Undergraduate Excellence," a showcase of research, innovation, creativity and scholarship.

The event, which takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Memorial Union Ballroom on campus, will feature 60 student exhibits from eight colleges.

The work ranges from the effects of broccoli on prostate cancer prevention to the diet preferences of Rio Grande turkeys. Students will be on-hand to discuss their research. Cash prizes will be awarded for the best presentations.
