CORVALLIS, Ore. – Toni Doolen, an associate professor in the School of Mechanical, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at Oregon State University, has been named the new editor of the Engineering Management Journal by the American Society for Engineering Management.
Doolen, who received her doctorate in industrial engineering from OSU, has received numerous career honors for her teaching and research, and is a senior member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers, the Society of Women Engineers, and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Prior to joining the faculty at OSU, she spent 11 years at Hewlett-Packard as an engineer, senior member of technical staff and manager.
Doolen conducts research on the impact of change mechanics on organizational performance. She has published many professional articles and received funding support from the Erkkila Endowment for Health and Human Performance, National Science Foundation, Northwest Academic Computing Consortium, the Oregon Department of Transportation, and the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation.
