CORVALLIS, Ore. - "Wine & Whiskers - Art from the Heartland," a benefit for Heartland Humane Society, is set from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 7, at Oregon State University's College of Veterinary Medicine's Magruder Hall (700 S.W. 30th St).
The open house features art created by shelter cats, dogs and rabbits, as well as human artists and includes live music, silent and live auctions, wine tasting and tours of OSU's College of Veterinary Medicine facility.
Tickets, which are $15, will be available at the door.
All proceeds benefit Heartland Humane Society. A Corvallis-based not-for-profit animal welfare organization, Heartland was founded in 1966.
