CORVALLIS - Four undergraduate students at Oregon State University are among 20 Oregon college students selected to receive 2006 Oregon NASA Space Grant Consortium Scholarships.

hese scholarships are open to new and continuing students in the disciplines of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The Oregon NASA Space Grant Consortium Undergraduate Scholarship Program supports NASA's objectives of fostering and encouraging career goals that impact the aerospace industry. The scholarship recipients are:

  • Corvallis: Robert J. Zaworski, a freshman in mechanical engineering, received a $1,000 Oregon NASA Space Grant Scholarship
  • Hillsboro: David D. McIntosh, a junior in electrical and electronics engineering, received a $1,000 Oregon NASA Space Grant Scholarship
  • Philomath: Christopher D. Edmonds, a sophomore in electrical engineering and computer science, received a $1,000 Oregon NASA Space Grant Scholarship
  • Sherwood: Brandon D. Philips, a junior in computer science, received a $1,000 Oregon NASA Space Grant Scholarship
