CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State University's Delta Gamma sorority is holding its annual charity fundraiser, Anchor Splash, Nov. 7-11.

Proceeds are donated to Service for Sight, which provides aid for the visually impaired and to the Delta Gamma Foundation, which provides scholarships, fellowships and educational programming.

Anchor Splash main events include a swim meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Osborn Aquatic Center, at Highland Drive and Circle Boulevard, and the Mr. Anchor Splash Pageant at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at OSU's LaSells Stewart Center at 26th Street and Western Boulevard. The swim meet is free and open to the public. Admission to the Mr. Anchor Splash Pageant is $3 per person.

"It's always an uplifting experience when the community, whether Greek-affiliated or not, comes together to support any cause," said Erin Moffenbeier, an OSU business major and Delta Gamma member. "We are thankful for the opportunity to take on active role."
