CORVALLIS - "A Prelude to Summer," a benefit for Oregon State University's Women's Center Sexual Assault and Violence Education Program, will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 13.

Tickets for the event, which is at ArtCentric on 700 S.W. Madison Ave., are $30 each or two for $50. They are available at the Women's Center on the OSU campus. For information, contact the center at 541-737-3186.

The evening features a silent auction, wine tasting, and live music from Soulstice, a four-part harmony singing group, and The Free Range Chix, an acapella quartet.

Featured wine tasting will be with Hip Chicks Do Wine, a Portland-based woman-owned winery.

The OSU Sexual Assault and Violence Education Program offers educational programs about consent, sexual assault and campus and community resources.
