CORVALLIS - "Variations on Approach," a play written by Oregon State University senior Matt Bremmer, will be performed by OSU's University Theatre June 6-7 at the Withycombe Hall Lab Theater, 30th and Campus Way.

Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at $3. Latecomers cannot be seated because of the configuration of the theater.

This is the first script by Bremmer, a general science major who came to OSU from St. Helens. "Variations on Approach" revolves around Rob (portrayed by Corvallis resident Sean Dickinson), who has lost his financial aid and can no longer work at the computer tech office at his university. On his last day of work, he decides to tell a co-worker, Anna (Meghaan Smith), how he feels about her.

Also appearing in the role of Rob's friend, Norm, is Dimitri Kondos.

Directing the play is John Clemson IV, a senior in computer engineering, who last year directed "The Stonewater Rapture."

Stage manager for the production is Catherine Rossi. Marion O. Rossi Jr. is faculty adviser.
