CORVALLIS - U.S. census data from 2000 tell us that 7 percent of Oregon's population is Hispanic and Latino. This translates into about 230,000 people in Oregon.

To better serve the needs of Hispanics and Latinos in the state, the Oregon State University Extension Service offers an increasing number of their publications and videos in Spanish, as well as English.

OSU Extension offers more than 37 publications and videos for Spanish speakers, on everything from home gardening, cooking and child raising to farm safety. View a list of these titles on the web at: http://eesc.oregonstate.edu. Click on "Publications and Videos," then "Spanish language (Espanol)".
