CORVALLIS - Holly Weimar of Arlington was elected president of the Oregon 4-H Foundation at its recent annual meeting at Oregon State University. The organization raises private funds in support of 4-H, the youth development program of the OSU Extension Service.

Weimer, a Gilliam County 4-H leader and rancher, succeeds Ed Zollner, Eugene, who continues on the foundation's board of trustees as past president.

Elected vice president was David Anderson, Eugene, market president with U.S. Bank. Robert Ohling, a retired agricultural consultant from Salem, was reelected treasurer.

Elected to the board of trustees were Sterling Allen, Athena, owner and publisher of Agri Times NW; Larry Aamold, Portland, member of the Oregon State Fair Commission and retired banker; Heidi Leineweber, a teacher at Portland's Franklin High School; Leyla Estes, Prineville, 4-H youth representative, and Leonard Aplet, Scappoose, senior vice president, Columbia Management Co.

Dana Martin, an Extension 4-H faculty member in Crook County, is the new representative of the Extension 4-H faculty.

Reelected to the board of trustees were Weimar; Len Calvert and Danna Magnuson, Eugene; Lynn Mattecheck, Lake Oswego; Martin Zimmerman, Madras; and R. Roy Hamilton, Coulee Dam, WA.
