CORVALLIS - Oregon State University's Music a la Carte concert series will present a vocal recital by soprano Maggie Daane on Thursday, March 6, in OSU's Memorial Union Lounge. The free public concert begins at noon. Audience members are welcome to bring a sack lunch.

Daane is a soloist, teacher, and adjudicator well known to Northwest audiences. She is on the voice faculties of OSU, Portland State University, and George Fox University. She also has performed as a guest artist with the Oregon Symphony, Portland Baroque Orchestra, Portland Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, Corvallis-OSU Symphony Orchestra, and the Chehalem Valley Orchestra.

Brett Randolph, trumpet; Jeanette Brudvig, flute; and OSU faculty members Rebecca Jeffers, piano, and Robert Brudvig, percussion, will join her. The performance will include works by Gustav Mahler, Arnold Schoenberg, and George Crumb.
