CORVALLIS - Oregon State University will coordinate an auction of surplus property from several local agencies and organizations on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Jackson County Public Works, 200 Antelope Road in White City.

Items available in the auction may be previewed from 8 to 10 a.m. Bidding will begin at 10 a.m.

A number of vehicles will be up for bid, including a 1977 Corvette, two BMW 750 motorcycles, a 1980 Ford 5-yard dump truck, a 1995 Ford F150 pickup and canopy, two Ford fire trucks, a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria, and numerous other sedans and pickups of varying makes and ages.

Large equipment to be auctioned includes a pair of asphalt rollers, a snowplow, two asphalt pavers, a lawn sweeper, a paint sprayer, generators and a trailer mount pump.

The auction also will feature office furniture, a drafting table, chain saws, a chipper/shredder and other equipment.

The materials are from OSU, Southern Oregon University, Klamath Falls Experiment Station, the Jackson County Airport Authority, the City of Medford, Bear Creek Valley Sanitary Authority, Rogue Community College, the City of Talent and Jackson County Facility Maintenance.

Auctioneers will be Brian Thorsness and Patsy Hendricks.
