CORVALLIS- Ed Edmo will perform "Through Coyote's Eyes," a one-person original play with five characters, on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 6:30 p.m. in Gilfillan Auditorium at the Oregon State University campus.

Each one of the characters tells a traditional story framed in the unique conflict of Edmo's life. His award wining one-man play has toured internationally to India, Syria, and Jordan.

This event is free and open to the public. Edmo's performance is part of the Native American Philosophies course sponsored by OSU Department of Ethnic Studies and the OSU Department of Philosophy. This course is supported by the Spirit Mountain Community Fund, The Spring Creek Project for Ideas, Nature and the Written Word, the Program for Ethics, Science and the Environment, OSU's University Honors College, the Hundere Endowment for Religion and Culture and ASOSU lectures and convocations. Edmo (Shoshone-Bannock) is a poet, playwright, performer and traditional storyteller of Northwest tribal culture. He authored the book of poetry, "These Few Words of Mine." He is also one of the founding members of the Northwest Native American Writers Association.
