CORVALLIS - A memorial service celebrating the lives of Oregon State University students Cornelius Beilharz and Keeta Owens, and their friend, Grit Kleinschmidt, will be held this Wednesday, June 5.

The three lost their lives last week during a climbing accident on Mount Rainier in Washington state.

The campus memorial will begin at 2:30 p.m. in LaSells Stewart Center's Construction and Engineering Hall. The center is located at 26th Street and Western Boulevard in Corvallis.

The public is invited to the ceremony.

Beilharz was a master's candidate in electrical and computer engineering from Stuttgart, Germany. Owens was a senior from Lebanon, Ore., who was majoring in zoology. Kleinschmidt was visiting from Dresden, Germany.
