CORVALLIS - Leonard Friedman, an associate professor of public health at Oregon State University, has been selected as editor of Frontiers of Health Services Management.

The journal is published by the Foundation of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Considered one of the prominent health care administration journals, Frontiers addresses topical issues in each of its quarterly publications, including "E-health" and alternative medicines. Upcoming issues will look at genetic engineering and integrated health systems.

Friedman, who also coordinates OSU's Health Care Administration Program, has been on the faculty since 1992.
