CORVALLIS - Veteran marketing manager Maureen Reeves has been named director of external relations for Oregon State University's College of Business, said Donald Parker, dean of the college.

Formerly the marketing manager for OSU's Austin Family Business Program, Reeves now serves as managing editor of the College of Business magazine, The Exchange. She also will update and manage the college website and coordinate and publicize college events.

Reeves has served in a public relations and marketing capacity for 20 years. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and communications from San Francisco State University.

"The College of Business offers a very comprehensive program for students interested in receiving a well-rounded business background and experience in technology," she said. "In addition, students are treated as individuals by the staff and receive a great deal of support. It is truly a pleasure to help promote such a strong, dedicated college."
