CORVALLIS - Jeffrey A. McCubbin has been named interim dean of the College of Health and Human Performance at Oregon State University. He has been associate dean of the college, and director of the OSU Special Motor and Fitness Skills Clinic.
Timothy White, who had been dean, was appointed interim provost and executive vice president of the university.
McCubbin is widely recognized in exercise science for his work with persons with disabilities. He has published numerous books and articles, and in 1998 was named a fellow in the American Academy of Kinesiology and Physical Education.
Anne Rossignol, a professor in the Department of Public Health, will serve as interim associate dean of the college. She is recognized for her work in environmental epidemiology and international health.
