CORVALLIS - The College of Health and Human Performance at Oregon State University has honored two of its top educators.

Anne Rossignol, a professor of public health, received the Carl A. Anderson Outstanding Faculty Award, which recognizes contributions to the college and the profession. Rossignol is nationally known for her work in epidemiology.

Donna Champeau, an assistant professor of public health, received the college's Excellence in Teaching Award. She was cited for her work in an innovative partnership with the Oregon Health Division to develop prevention programs for HIV, tuberculosis, and sexually transmitted diseases.

Both recipients are noted for their individual accomplishments and innovative approaches to their work, said Jeff McCubbin, associate dean of the college.

"They have consistently demonstrated excellence and innovation as educators and scholars," McCubbin said, "and they continue to develop new directions and approaches to public service."
