CORVALLIS - A free "Elite Scholarship Information Session" is scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, at Oregon State University for students interested in competing for nationally competitive scholarships for undergraduate, graduate study or study abroad.

Sponsored by OSU's University Scholars Program, the session will be in the Arnold Dining Hall Gold Room. For information, contact the scholar's program at 541-737-2052.

Students who have gone through the application processes, as well as faculty representatives, will relate their experiences and give advice on how to successfully compete for scholarships. Programs scheduled for discussion include: Fulbright Scholarships; Rhodes Scholarships; James Madison Fellowships; Harry Truman Scholarships and National Security Education Program Undergraduate Scholarships for Study Abroad.
