CORVALLIS - The U.S. Department of Energy has selected students at Oregon State University to receive nuclear engineering and health physics scholarships for the 1999-2000 academic year.

These $2,000 scholarships are awarded to outstanding undergraduate students in nuclear engineering and radiation health physics through a nationwide competition.

The OSU recipients include:

    PORTLAND: Nathan Carstens, a sophomore in pre-engineering (zip code: 97267)

     

  • ALASKA

    KODIAK: Chal Davidson, sophomore in pre-engineering

     

  • CALIFORNIA

    FAIRFIELD: Zachary Kenney, a freshman in pre-engineering

     

  • MONTANA

    THOMPSON FALLS: Carl Brady Haynes, a junior in engineering

     

  • NORTH DAKOTA

    VELVA: Christopher Linrud, a sophomore in pre-engineering
