CORVALLIS - Advisors for the OSU Statewide extended education program will be available in three communities during March.
For Astoria residents, advisors will be at Clatsop Community College on Monday, March 2, to provide information and advising for the liberal studies distance degree program. An appointment may be made by calling (800) 235-6559, or drop-in visits are welcome from 3-6 p.m. in Patriot Room 323.
For residents of The Dalles and Hood River, advisors will be available on March 12 at Columbia Gorge Community College and Hood River Memorial Hospital. Interested students should call (800) 235-6559 for more information on schedules and locations.
In each location this spring, three courses will be offered via satellite or video. The course titles are Leadership, Power and Communication; Science and Technology in Social Context; and Ocean Research Frontiers. A variety of other courses can be taken through distance education, and a catalog of OSU Statewide offerings can be obtained by calling (800) 235-6559.
